Less Swirls, More Shine and Gloss
Has your vehicle’s paint lost its luster? Scratches, swirl marks, and oxidation can make your car look worn and neglected. This is especially true with darker colored vehicles like black. You see all the imperfections in the paint. Our paint correction and polishing will bring back that deep shine in your paint.
What exactly is paint correction? It’s a process designed to eliminate paint imperfections like swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation, and water spots. Over time, exposure to the elements and improper washing and drying techniques take a toll on your vehicle’s finish. Our paint correction process restores the depth, gloss, and clarity, making your car look as if it just rolled off the showroom floor.
We use professional-grade compounds, polishers, and pads to remove defects safely while preserving the integrity of your clear coat. Unlike quick fixes that mask swirls with fillers or oils, our process provides true paint correction—permanently eliminating imperfections, not just covering them up.
We can also apply a ceramic coating after we’ve polished your vehicle to add an extra layer of shine and protection that will last for years.

Our Paint Correction Process
Whether it’s a work truck, family hauler, or your weekend ride, we’re focused on providing quality. Unlike high-volume car wash lots that rush through jobs, we take our time to ensure every step is done properly.
Depending on the condition of your vehicle, the process may change to achieve the desired end results. Here’s what our process looks like:
Thorough Wash: Before any correction begins, we start with an intensive wash and decontamination process. We clean the wheels and tires to remove built-up brake dust and road grime. Next we hand wash the paint and glass to eliminate dirt and residue.
Cleanse the Paint: Next, we have to “pull off” any of the embedded dirt that wasn’t removed during the wash process. Using a clay bar and iron decontamination treatment, we ensure the paint is contaminant-free. After this step, your paint will feel smooth to the touch and be ready for correction.
Paint Inspection and Test Spot: We don’t just grab a buffer and go to work. We first inspect the paint, measure the clear coat’s thickness, and perform test spots to determine the best polishing method. This ensures we get the best possible results while keeping your paint’s integrity intact.
Polishing The Swirls, Scratches, and Imperfections: This is where the transformation happens. Using professional polishers, cutting compounds, and pads, we carefully work to remove swirl marks, oxidation, water spots, and scratches.
The level of correction depends on your car’s condition and your goals. A light polish removes minor imperfections in just a few hours. A multi-step correction can eliminate up to 80-90% of defects, which may take up to two days for a near-perfect finish.
Protect The Paint: Once the correction is complete, we lock in the results by applying a high-quality paint sealant or ceramic coating. A sealant offers up to six months of protection while adding shine. A ceramic coating (optional upgrade) protects your paint for years.
Final Touches: To complete the service, we dress the tires, clean the glass, wipe the door jambs down, and touch up any last little details to pull it all together.
We take a customized and careful approach to every vehicle. If you want us to take things to the extreme and go after every little swirl, we can do that. And if you want us to give your car a more simple polish to refresh the paint, we can also do that for you.

Paint Correction FAQs

Does paint correction remove deep scratches?
If the scratch is surface level and not through all three layers of paint, we can significantly reduce or remove it. If it has gone through the paint, touch-up or repainting may be necessary. We’ll assess the damage when we inspect your vehicle.
How long does paint correction take?
Depending on the level of correction, it can take anywhere from four hours to two days.
Will swirl marks return after paint correction?
Not if properly maintained! Using quality wash mitts, microfiber towels, and proper washing techniques will prevent future swirl marks and preserve your paint’s finish. Whether you do it or have someone do it for you, maintenance is key!
How long does the service take to complete?
This will be completely dependent on the size, condition, and results you’d like to achieve. For an all-in-one service that provides a light polish, we can get done with that in four hours. If you want us to restore a heavily oxidized SUV, that can take two full days.
